Gig Recording – record your next gig

We can bring along our equipment to capture the gig, ready to release as a live album or as Birmingham Jazz do, upload Jazz Club gigs as a monthly podcast.

A full services can be offered as this can tie into PA hire and we can become the complete sound solution for your gig / festival / concert / wedding!

Mobile Studio

Imagine being able to record where you want in an environment that you are happy with? Or perhaps you want to save the costs involved with the hire of a specific studio space? Or you fancy recoding somewhere which has an amazing sound / acoustic?

All these are possible as Bassnote can provide a mobile recording outfit, we bring along the equipment into a space we have both agreed upon to record you there.

Mixing / Production

With many years of experience in a variety of styles of music, Peter can work either with you or on his own to mix the recording. The process that tends to happen is that you are given a rough (unmixed) CD of all the takes from the recording shortly after the recoding session is over, then the preferred method of working is to have a short break before embarking on the mixing process so a level of distance can be archived from the recording.  Mixing tends to be done in the back at base but can also be mobile and I can come to you to mix.
